Falcons' Injury Update and Inactive List Released Ahead of Sunday Night Game

The Atlanta Falcons will be heading into Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a clean bill of health as several players who were limited in practice throughout the week have been cleared to play. Running back Tyler Allgeier, defensive back Antonio Hamilton, and defensive lineman James Smith-Williams were all full participants in Friday's practice and are set to be available for the game. This will mark Hamilton's first game with the Falcons after recovering from a groin injury sustained during Week 1. He is listed as the backup to Dee Alford at the nickel position on the team's official depth chart.
On the flip side, there are no surprises on the list of inactive players for the Falcons. Rookie running back Jase McClellan, along with defensive linemen Ruke Orhorhoro and Brandon Dorlus, will be inactive for the third time this season. Head coach Raheem Morris explained that the decision to keep Orhorhoro out of the lineup is due to the strong performances of the six defensive linemen who are suiting up for the game, including veterans Grady Jarrett, David Onyemata, Ta'Quon Graham, Eddie Goldman, Zach Harrison, and Kentavious Street.
Despite some initial concerns about the availability of key players, the Falcons seem to be in a good position as they prepare to face the Chiefs on Sunday night. With the return of previously injured players and a solid lineup of active players, the team is looking to secure a victory in a highly anticipated matchup. Stay tuned for updates on the game as the Falcons take on the Chiefs tonight.
