**Elon Musk Contemplating Family Compound in Austin for His 11 Children**

Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and father of 11 children, is considering relocating his diverse family into three adjoining mansions in Austin, Texas. This unconventional idea features Musk's own residence alongside two neighboring properties, a mere ten-minute walk away from his own home.

As reported by the New York Times, Musk aims to house his children, who range from infants to young adults, along with two of their three mothers in this newly envisioned family compound. Musk, well-known for his concerns about declining fertility rates, appears to be committed to expanding his lineage further.

Recently, the tech mogul invested $35 million to acquire these properties. Interestingly, these mansions are situated in a dense, ungated area, which is quite atypical for someone of Musk's financial stature. Previously, Musk faced scrutiny from the Justice Department for allegedly utilizing Tesla resources to construct a "glass house" near the company's headquarters, signaling that the family compound could be a modified plan from his earlier grand ambitions.

Musk's fervor for propagating his genes has occasionally led to peculiar situations. For instance, he reportedly offered his sperm to friends and acquaintances, including Nicole Shanahan, a former independent vice-presidential candidate, who declined the proposal. Additionally, reports surfaced indicating Musk volunteered his sperm to SpaceX employees to help populate a Martian colony.

With preparations seemingly in progress, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink and mother of three of Musk's children, has already moved into one of the properties. Conversely, Claire "Grimes" Boucher, who shares three children with Musk, is unlikely to join due to their ongoing custody dispute. This could leave the third available mansion for his first wife, Justine Musk, and their five older children.

Whether this plan will fully materialize remains uncertain. However, given Musk's vast resources and relentless desire to expand his family, it's feasible that the Austin compound could indeed come to fruition. This would mark an extraordinary next step in Musk's personal and familial aspirations, surpassing even the familial exploits of his estranged father, Errol Musk, who fathered seven children with three different women.
