In a surprising move, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk brought his 3-year-old son, X, to the Tesla Gigafactory in Germany on Wednesday to celebrate Bring Your Kid to Work Day, a month ahead of schedule. Musk, known for his controversial ventures, was captured in photographs carrying his young son on his shoulders while engaging with Tesla employees at the factory.

The Berlin-area Gigafactory has been at the center of scrutiny recently due to concerns over its potential impact on protected wetlands nearby. Tesla's plans to expand the facility have faced backlash from environmental activists, sparking a heated debate.

Despite his ongoing custody battle with the child's mother, Grimes, Musk has been actively spending time with their son. Just last month, he was spotted attending the Super Bowl alongside X in Las Vegas. The entrepreneur and the "Genesis" singer are also parents to 2-year-old daughter Exa, fondly referred to as Y, and 1-year-old son Techno, lovingly known as Tau.

In September 2023, Grimes filed a "petition to establish parental relationship" in California, seeking legal recognition of both parents' status when unmarried. Shortly before this legal filing, Musk submitted a petition in Texas, claiming custody of the children and asserting that they resided primarily in the Lone Star State.

The relationship between Musk and Grimes, a Canadian musician, began in early 2018. While they briefly broke up in September 2021 (as exclusively reported by Page Six), they later reconciled before ultimately separating again.

Musk, the founder of SpaceX, is a father to a total of ten children. With his ex-wife Justine Wilson, he shares 20-year-old twins Griffin and Vivian. In June 2022, Vivian publicly came out as transgender and now uses her mother's last name. Musk and Wilson were married from 2000 to 2008 and tragically lost their firstborn son to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) in 2002. Additionally, Musk welcomed twins with Neuralink's director of operations and special projects, Shivon Zilis, in November 2021.

Amidst his busy schedule and various business endeavors, it is apparent that Musk values spending time with his children. This early celebration of Bring Your Kid to Work Day showcases his dedication to being an involved father, despite the ongoing legal battles surrounding custody and the controversies surrounding his ventures.
