**Dynarex Corporation Extends Baby Powder Recall Due to Asbestos Concerns**

**Montvale, NJ – October 28, 2024** – Dynarex Corporation has expanded its ongoing product recall, initiated on September 19, 2024, to include additional batches of its Dynacare Baby Powder. The recall now encompasses 373 cases of the 14 oz. size (item number 4875) and 647 cases of the 4 oz. size (item number 4874), due to the potential presence of asbestos contamination. Asbestos, a known carcinogen, poses significant health risks, and its inadvertent inclusion in consumer products highlights serious safety concerns.

The affected Dynacare Baby Powder containers, which are sold in plastic bottles, can be identified by their lot or batch numbers located at the bottom of each bottle and on the corresponding cases. The 14 oz. bottles are packaged in sets of 24 per case, while the 4 oz. bottles are packaged in sets of 48 per case. The recall was triggered by routine FDA sampling, which detected asbestos in the final product.

Further investigation by Dynarex revealed that the contamination could be traced back to the bulk talc material used in these batches. As a precautionary measure, the company has halted distribution of the affected products while they work to identify the source of the contamination and prevent future incidents.

Consumers in possession of the recalled Dynacare Baby Powder should stop using it immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Dynarex Corporation is committed to ensuring the safety of its products and deeply regrets any inconvenience caused by this expanded recall.
