In a recent episode of "The Draymond Green Show," NBA star Draymond Green did not hold back when discussing the postgame antics of Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley. Green expressed his concern over Beverley's recurring pattern of outbursts and called for accountability within the league.

The incident in question occurred during the Bucks' season-ending loss to the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Emotions were running high, and Beverley was seen throwing a basketball at multiple spectators near his team's bench.

Green was quick to address the issue, stating, "Pat Bev threw a ball at a fan last night. Pat keeps having these instances when they lose in these playoff games. That one might have been crazier than the [Chris Paul] push. Because it opens up an entirely different can of worms. [NBA commissioner Adam Silver] is going to have a problem on his hands with this one. Because it's about as close as you can get to going in the stands. That is forbidden for us."

The Golden State Warriors forward emphasized the significance of the incident, highlighting that it could potentially result in serious consequences for Beverley and the NBA as a whole. He called on Commissioner Silver to take action against such behavior, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment for players, fans, and officials.

However, the altercation with fans was not the only incident that marred Beverley's postgame conduct. The 35-year-old faced severe backlash after excluding ESPN reporter Malinda Adams from his media scrum upon learning that she did not subscribe to his podcast.

Beverley's comment to the reporter, "You can't interview me then. No disrespect," drew widespread criticism for his unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards a media professional. Green expressed his disagreement with Beverley's stance, remarking that he had never heard someone demand podcast subscriptions as a prerequisite for an interview.

Green, who himself operates a podcast, extended appreciation towards the NBA for supporting podcasts and shared his different approach to engaging with reporters. He criticized Beverley's continual behavior after losses, comparing him to a child who refuses to continue playing and takes his ball home. Green encouraged Beverley to reflect on his actions and strive for better sportsmanship moving forward.

While Beverley's on-court intensity is valued by many, it is imperative for players to conduct themselves appropriately both during and after games. As Green's criticism highlights, such incidents not only reflect poorly on the players involved but also undermine the league's reputation. Green's frank assessment serves as a reminder for players to hold themselves to a higher standard and prioritize professionalism, respect, and accountability in their interactions with fans, reporters, and the NBA community as a whole.
