In a heartbreaking update, it has been revealed that drag racing legend John Force, 75, has been moved from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit following his 300mph crash in Virginia. Force's head injury is said to be of primary concern, and his family members, who have been present at the hospital daily, consider the move to the neuro ICU a welcome positive.

A statement released by Force's team expressed gratitude towards the medical professionals caring for him and the overwhelming number of heartfelt messages of prayer, support, and concern they have received. The family also requested continued privacy for both them and the John Force Racing team members during this difficult time.

Force's daughter, Brittany, a two-time world champion, has decided to remain at the hospital with her family in solidarity for her father. Force, known for his impressive record of 157 NHRA victories and his second win of the season just three weeks ago in New Hampshire, was examined by the NHRA Medical Team at the track before being transported by medical helicopter to the trauma hospital where he is currently being held.

This unfortunate incident is not the first time Force has faced a serious racing crash. Back in 2007 at the age of 58, he was severely injured in a racing crash in Ennis, Texas.

The drag racing community and fans around the world are anxiously awaiting further updates on Force's condition as he receives treatment for his head injury. The racing world is rallying behind Force and sending him countless messages of support and well-wishes.

We will continue to monitor his progress and provide updates as soon as they become available. Our thoughts are with John Force and his family during this challenging time.
