**Dodgers' Yamamoto Set for Citi Field Debut Against Mets in Crucial NLCS Game 4**

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the Dodgers' prized pitcher who impressed during his Citi Field visit while weighing his Major League options, is now gearing up for a critical Game 4 in the National League Championship Series against the Mets. Despite considering multiple teams, Yamamoto eventually penned a lucrative 12-year, $325 million deal with the Dodgers. His decision has led him to this pivotal matchup on Thursday night, where his performance could be a game-changer for his team.

Yamamoto is entering this game with high expectations following his stellar performance in the National League Division Series clincher against the Padres, where he pitched five scoreless innings. "I did meet [the Mets] a couple times and I had a good impression, which made it a little hard to make a decision," Yamamoto said. "It's a wonderful organization."

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza remains confident in his team's ability to rebound. "The guys that are in there got us to this point," Mendoza stated. "And I'm pretty confident they'll come through. We are creating traffic. I like the fact that we are getting guys on base. We just haven't been able to come up with a big hit, but I'll continue to take my chances with guys."

The game is set to be played at Citi Field, with the first pitch scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET/5:08 p.m. PT. Fans can catch the game live on FS1, with streaming also available on MLB.TV in the U.S. and in select countries outside the U.S.

The Mets' answer to Yamamoto on the mound will be José Quintana, who has been in exceptional form with an 0.57 ERA over his last eight starts. Quintana has yet to allow an earned run in the playoffs, adding to the anticipation of this pitching duel. The Mets originally considered starting Quintana in Game 3 but opted for Luis Severino instead, keeping Quintana fresh for this must-win game.

In terms of lineups, the Dodgers will adapt to the left-handed Quintana by placing Teoscar Hernández in the third spot, sitting Freddie Freeman, and starting Max Muncy at first base, hitting sixth. Chris Taylor will replace an injured Gavin Lux at second base.

As the intensity of the series mounts, this game promises to be a memorable clash, crucial for both teams' aspirations of advancing further in the postseason.
