**Combs' Children Denounce Rumors Amid Legal Turmoil and Controversial Book Release**
Sean "Diddy" Combs' children have publicly denounced rumors surrounding their late mother, Kim Porter, sparked by a recently published book allegedly penned by Porter herself. Christian, 26, along with 17-year-old twins Jessie and D'Lila, and Quincy Brown, Porter's son with Al B Sure, voiced their concerns on Instagram, addressing false information regarding their parents' relationship and their mother's tragic death in 2018.
The book in question, titled *Kim's Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side*, was released merely days before Combs was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. The children have refrained from commenting on the charges, which Combs firmly denies.
This supposed memoir, reportedly derived from Porter's diaries stored on a flash drive, is currently ranking No. 3 on Amazon's Literature & Fiction sales charts. Published under Porter's name and a pseudonym "Jamal T. Millwood," the book depicts disturbing and graphic accounts of sexual encounters involving Combs and other celebrities. Combs' and Porter's children are now seeking legal counsel regarding the 58-page publication.
Attorneys for Combs have condemned the book as "fake" and "offensive," calling it a "shameless attempt to profit from tragedy." A source close to the family confirmed to People magazine that the author, named as Chris Todd, has no legitimate connection to Kim Porter or her family. When questioned by Rolling Stone, Todd confessed uncertainty about the book's authenticity, stating, "If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, 'Life or death, is that book real?' I have to say I don't know. But it's real enough to me."
In their public statement, Combs' and Porter's children emphasized the devastating impact of their mother's death, which has been officially attributed to natural causes with no foul play involved. They appealed to the public for respect and peace as they continue to navigate their grief: "Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace."
Amid these revelations, Combs, 54, is currently held without bail in New York, awaiting trial. The New York Times has reported that Combs is sharing a dormitory-style room in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center with Sam Bankman-Fried, who is known for cryptocurrency fraud, among others.
Additionally, Combs faces an escalating number of civil claims, with an 11th allegation of sexual abuse filed on Tuesday by Thalia Graves. She claims Combs and his bodyguard sexually assaulted her in 2001, and later distributed video footage of the attack as pornography.
Separately, Netflix has announced a docuseries focusing on rapper 50 Cent, who has a longstanding feud with Combs, covering similar charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and additional allegations of sexual assault and violent abuse. In a statement to Variety, 50 Cent and series director Alexandria Stapleton stress that while these allegations are serious, they seek to ensure that Sean Combs' actions do not overshadow the broader contributions of hip-hop culture.
