Detroit Lions head coach, Dan Campbell, and his family had to relocate due to security concerns after their address was disclosed following the team's loss in the NFC Championship Game in January. The incidents prompted authorities to file at least four reports regarding the safety of Campbell's residence, located in Bloomfield Township, a Detroit suburb. Multiple uninvited visitors, phone calls, and a Snapchat post with their address led to the family moving to a new undisclosed location.

According to a police report obtained by the Detroit Free Press, Campbell's teenage daughter was left scared by the unsolicited visitors and the Snapchat post with a profane message. The source of the Snapchat post was identified as a classmate of Campbell's daughter, who admitted to finding humor in the situation and posting their address on social media. The classmate and friends reportedly drove to the Campbells' residence, yelled disparaging remarks directed at the house, but did not approach the property.

Despite the unsettling incidents, no criminal charges were pressed, and authorities stated that no police calls have been made concerning the Campbells' new residence. Campbell expressed a desire not to dwell on the matter, emphasizing his dedication to his coaching responsibilities with the Detroit Lions. His wife, Holly, expressed concerns about their address being public knowledge and potential security risks with people knowing when the family is away from home. The Lions and NFL security have since intervened to ensure the safety of the Campbell family.
