In a stunning performance, Derrick White showcased his scoring prowess as he led the Boston Celtics to a dominant win over the Miami Heat in Game 4. The Celtics secured a 102-88 victory on the road, with White's career-high 38 points stealing the spotlight.

Right from the start, White's impact was felt on the court. He played a crucial role in Boston's 15-2 run during the first quarter, contributing 11 points, including eight in just 57 seconds. This impressive burst of scoring energized the Celtics and set the tone for their commanding performance.

By the 3:39 mark of the first quarter, White had already matched his postseason career-high, totaling 16 points. However, he was far from finished. As the game progressed, Boston's lead remained comfortably in double-figures, soaring to as much as 28 points, as White continued to dominate.

White's shooting was impeccable throughout the game, as he converted 15 of his 26 attempts from the field. His precision from beyond the arc was especially remarkable, connecting on 8 of 15 three-point attempts. By doing so, White fell just one three-pointer shy of Miami's team total of nine.

The Celtics guard also showcased his defensive prowess, blocking three shots, which equaled the entire total of the Miami Heat team in that category. In addition to his defensive contributions, White tallied four rebounds and three assists during his nearly 41 minutes on the court.

While both teams struggled with their shooting percentages, with both shooting below 42% from the field, White's exceptional performance stood out. He outshone players on both sides, including Miami's Tyler Herro, who managed to score 19 points.

Not only did White set a new playoff career-high with his 38 points, but it also became his overall career-high as well. His outstanding performance exemplified the depth of talent in the Celtics squad, demonstrating that they have multiple players capable of stepping up when needed.

With this victory, Boston seized control of the game early on, leading for the final 46 minutes and 31 seconds. They also outscored the Heat 16-8 on fast break points and made four more free throws (16) than Miami attempted (12).

Derrick White's phenomenal night will undoubtedly be remembered as a turning point in the series. As the Celtics head into Game 5, they will look to build on this momentum and aim to secure another crucial win as they continue to battle against the Miami Heat.
