**Davante Adams Trade Speculations Intensify, Jets and Saints Leading the Pack**

Las Vegas Raiders' star receiver Davante Adams might be on the verge of finding a new team soon. According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, both the Raiders and Adams are eager to finalize a new destination within the next 48 hours. The Raiders are reportedly asking for a second-round draft pick and an additional selection in return for the 31-year-old receiver. However, as of now, no team has matched this request.

Russini mentioned that the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints are Adams' preferred teams. Although the Jets and Saints are seen as the top contenders for landing Adams, the Pittsburgh Steelers remain seriously involved in discussions. Additionally, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are not entirely out of the running just yet.

The dynamics surrounding Adams' situation have evolved rapidly. Despite entering the 2024 season with the intention of keeping Adams, the Raiders' position shifted amid his hamstring injury and a deteriorating relationship with the franchise. ESPN's Adam Schefter recently highlighted that Las Vegas started notifying other teams of its willingness to trade Adams.

While the Raiders are still aiming for a second-round pick in the trade, industry insiders believe a third-rounder might be the eventual outcome. The Jets' recent struggles, punctuated by a 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, have amplified their need for a reliable receiver like Adams. Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who previously played with Adams on the Green Bay Packers, threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns but also had three interceptions. Rodgers targeted star receiver Garrett Wilson 22 times, suggesting the Jets could benefit greatly from Adams' presence to bolster their offense.
