The Dallas Stars have unveiled their much-anticipated regular-season schedule for the 2024-25 NHL season. The season kicks off on Thursday, October 10 with an away game against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.

The Stars will then have their home opener on Saturday, October 12 at the American Airlines Center, facing off against the New York Islanders. This game marks the start of a three-game homestand for Dallas.

In an exciting development, the Stars will be participating in the 2024 NHL Global Series presented by Fastenal. They will take on the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, in a pair of regular-season games at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland. The games are scheduled for Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.

Fans can look forward to an action-packed season with plenty of games at the American Airlines Center. The Stars will host 30 opponents in their home slate, featuring 13 matchups within the Central Division, 12 against Pacific Division opponents, and 15 against teams from the Eastern Conference. Most of the games will start at 7 p.m. CT.

The schedule offers 19 home weekend dates, including six games on Fridays, eight on Saturdays, and six on Sundays. Notably, December will be a busy month for the Stars, as they will be playing nine times at the AAC, including a lengthy six-game homestand from December 8 to December 20.

While December brings a home-heavy schedule, January and March will see the Stars on the road for a total of eight games each. The team's longest road trip of the season will be a five-game stretch from January 7 to January 14, 2025.

There are several additional highlights throughout the season, including a highly-anticipated post-Thanksgiving game against the Colorado Avalanche on November 29, a special New Year's Eve matchup against the Buffalo Sabres on December 31, and two visits to Utah on December 2 and 23.

All the home games for the 2024-25 regular season will go on sale to the general public at a later date. However, Dallas Stars Victory Club Members, Dallas Stars App users, and Dallas Stars Insiders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public through presales.
