**Country Singer Lorrie Morgan Mourns the Loss of Husband Randy White**
Country music star Lorrie Morgan is grappling with the heart-wrenching loss of her beloved husband, Randy White. White, aged 72, succumbed to mouth cancer, leaving Morgan, 65, and their family devastated.
"Randy has been my partner, my champion, and my rock for 17 years," Morgan shared on Instagram, reflecting on their time together. She expressed her profound sorrow, stating, "Our big, wonderful family and I are devastated at the loss of this truly kind and incredible man. I was blessed by his love. Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever."
Morgan's son, Jesse Keith Whitley, also honored his stepfather in a heartfelt Facebook post. "As I sit here in the room with hospice, I don't know really what to think or to say about this situation," Whitley, 37, wrote. He spoke of White's unwavering love and support, reminiscing about the years White had been a part of their lives, loving Morgan and nurturing him and his sister as if they were his own children.
Reflecting on White's gentle nature, Whitley added, "He has shown unconditional love to my mother and been the most gentle soul to ever grace this entire family. As we say our goodbyes, I reminisce of all the good times we have had & the battles he has helped overcome. We will miss you always and forever and our hearts are shattered in losing you. But you have fought one helluva fight RanMan!"
Morgan and White tied the knot in a private beachside ceremony in September 2010. Earlier this year, Morgan had revealed that White was undergoing treatment for mouth cancer. She had expressed gratitude for the prayers, well-wishes, and requests for continued support and privacy as the family focused on White's health.
In April, Morgan made the difficult decision to cancel her upcoming shows to be by her husband's side. Her manager, Tony Conway, had issued a statement on her behalf, indicating that White was readmitted to a hospital in Middle Tennessee for further treatment.
This is a significant chapter in Morgan's personal life, marking the end of her sixth marriage. She was previously married to musician Ron Gaddis, with whom she has a daughter, Morgan Anastasia Gaddis. Her subsequent marriages include singer Keith Whitley, bus driver Brad Thompson, and country singers Jon Randall and Sammy Kershaw.
The loss of Randy White marks the end of a deep and enduring partnership, leaving an indelible impact on Lorrie Morgan and her family.
