### Claims of Rigging Emerge in Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight

Fresh controversy has surfaced around the highly-publicized fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, which recently aired on Netflix and drew a crowd of 70,000 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Paul emerged victorious via a unanimous decision, boosting his record to 11-1. Despite Tyson's strong start, where he seemed poised to showcase a vintage performance, the boxing legend's energy waned, and he only managed to land 18 punches throughout the fight.

Fans have speculated that the bout was rigged in Paul's favor, with many arguing that Tyson, once a ferocious competitor, held back after catching Paul with a significant left hook. These suspicions have been bolstered by remarks from Sara Bailey, the women's WBA world lightweight champion, who suggested in an ES News interview that the fight was "fixed."

Adding more intrigue to the narrative, former Dallas Cowboys star Michael Irvin claimed that a secret contract clause prevented Tyson from using his infamous uppercut. Irvin expressed disbelief over Tyson's uncharacteristic restraint, especially given the uppercut's prominence in Tyson's arsenal. "That's a big lie to me," Irvin said. "Why wouldn't Mike Tyson throw an uppercut?"

Irvin’s commentary was echoed by Colin Cowherd, who speculated on his show that Paul might have chosen not to humiliate "Iron Mike." Cowherd suggested that Paul could have knocked Tyson out by the fifth round but refrained due to the contractual limitations imposed on Tyson.

Jake Paul, who has faced similar conspiracy theories throughout his boxing career, defended his performance during an appearance on his brother Logan's 'IMPAULSIVE' podcast. He dismissed the allegations, attributing Tyson’s inability to land punches to his own skill set. "You don't realize my power, and my speed, and my agility, and my footwork to get out of the way of those punches," Paul asserted. "All of a sudden he's throwing at air."

The debate over the legitimacy of the fight continues to rage, adding another chapter to the contentious world of celebrity boxing.
