### CHSN Launches Direct-to-Consumer Service for Chicago Sports Fans

**Chicago, IL** - Exciting news for Chicago sports enthusiasts as Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) is set to roll out its new direct-to-consumer streaming service starting this Friday. The service will allow fans to view live games of the Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox through CHSN’s app or via any web browser. Subscribers can choose between a single-team package at $19.99 per month or gain full access to all teams for $29.99 per month. A seven-day free trial is also available for both options.

This new digital product comes at a time when CHSN and Comcast, the largest cable provider in the region, are still in a deadlock over carriage agreements. Despite this dispute, the network can still be accessed through other providers such as U-Verse, Astound/RCN cable, DirecTV, DirecTV Stream, and Fubo streaming services. Additionally, it can be viewed over the air on WJYS subchannels 62.2 and 62.3.

Jason Coyle, President of CHSN, expressed enthusiasm about the launch: "We are excited to offer Chicago sports fans a one-of-a-kind digital product enabling immediate access to live games and a complement of personalized, on-demand content. Today's announcement is the next step in our long-term commitment to Chicago sports fans everywhere and is another new and compelling way for us to serve and connect with them."

In a gesture to loyal supporters, the Bulls and Blackhawks informed their full season-ticket holders on Thursday that they will receive complimentary access to the direct-to-consumer service for the duration of the regular season. However, this offer is limited to the specific team, meaning Bulls season-ticket holders will only have access to Bulls games and Blackhawks season-ticket holders to Blackhawks games.

For the technical implementation, CHSN has collaborated with ViewLift, a company experienced in developing platforms for regional streaming services such as Altitude in Denver and Monumental Sports & Entertainment in Washington. ViewLift also has a track record of working with major entities like NHL, NBA, NBCUniversal, and TEGNA.

In the upcoming weeks, CHSN plans to provide authentication through pay-TV providers and extend access via connected TV apps including Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV.

With this new initiative, CHSN aims to provide a versatile and user-friendly way for fans to follow their favorite Chicago teams, enhancing the overall sports viewing experience.
