Steve McMichael was an iconic figure for the '85 Bears, a team known for its exceptional talent and larger-than-life personalities. After a successful football career, McMichael later ventured into the world of professional wrestling in WCW. He even made a bid for mayor of Romeoville, Illinois, in 2012. However, it was his contributions on the football field that solidified his place as a standout player in NFL history.

Selected as a third-round pick by the New England Patriots in 1980, McMichael would spend the majority of his career in Chicago, becoming an integral part of the formidable "46 defense" under coordinator Buddy Ryan. Known for his relentless style of play, McMichael managed an impressive 95 sacks and 847 tackles during his career, solidifying himself as one of the most accomplished interior linemen in NFL history.

During the induction ceremony, McMichael's introduction was done by Jarrett Payton, the son of Bears Hall of Famer Walter Payton.
