**Panthers Triumph Over Giants in Overtime, 20-17**

The Carolina Panthers clinched a narrow 20-17 victory against the New York Giants in a heated overtime battle in Germany on Sunday. Eddy Pineiro's decisive 36-yard field goal in overtime sealed the win for the Panthers, adding further woes to a struggling Giants team now at a dismal 2-8 following their fifth consecutive loss.

The Panthers initially commanded the game, amassing a 10-0 lead by halftime. It appeared they were in control throughout, but the Giants staged a significant comeback late in the game. In the fourth quarter, New York managed to level the score at 17-17, courtesy of a crucial 42-yard field goal by Graham Gano with just five seconds remaining, forcing the game into overtime.

However, the Giants' hopes quickly dimmed at the start of overtime when running back Tyrone Tracy fumbled after a hit from former Giant A'Shawn Robinson. Panthers linebacker Josey Jewell recovered the ball at the New York 23-yard line, setting up Pineiro's game-winning kick.

Chuba Hubbard delivered an outstanding performance for Carolina, rushing for a career-high 153 yards on 28 carries. Second-year quarterback Bryce Young also played a steady game, helping secure his team’s second consecutive win by completing 15 of 25 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown.

The Giants, despite their resilience, were undone by critical mistakes, including two interceptions thrown by quarterback Daniel Jones, who completed 22 of 37 passes for 190 yards. Tyrone Tracy led New York’s ground game with 103 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown, while receivers Wan'Dale Robinson and Malik Nabers contributed with 51 yards and 60 yards respectively.

Though the Giants held the ball for 32 minutes and outgained the Panthers 342 to 306 yards, their late-game efforts were insufficient. Malik Nabers even returned to the field after being evaluated for a concussion, but the offense couldn't capitalize, leaving the Giants grappling for solutions as they return home with the league's worst record.
