### Panthers Strengthen 2025 Draft Position with Trade of Jonathan Mingo to Cowboys

The Carolina Panthers have secured an additional draft pick for 2025 through a recent trade deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The agreement, which took place on Tuesday, saw the Panthers send second-year receiver Jonathan Mingo and their 2025 seventh-round pick in exchange for the Cowboys' fourth-round pick for the same year.

Mingo, who was the 39th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, contributed to the Panthers' offense over 24 games in the last season and a half. During his tenure, he hauled in 55 receptions on 111 targets, amassing a total of 539 receiving yards.

This latest trade maneuver boosts the Panthers’ draft capital, giving them a total of eight picks within the first five rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. Their new tally includes a selection in each of the first three rounds, two picks in the fourth round, three in the fifth round, and another in the seventh round.

With these strategic moves, the Panthers are positioning themselves with more options and flexibility for the upcoming draft season, potentially setting the stage for significant roster improvements.
