The couple, who usually keep their personal lives private, ventured out for a rare family outing on Saturday.

She pushed a stroller carrying the couple's newborn son, while Madden, from the band Good Charlotte, sported a long-sleeved black sweatshirt, black shorts, and a green hat.

As they walked, Madden carried multiple white shopping bags in one hand and held hands with their 4-year-old daughter, Raddix, with the other. He also carried Raddix's purple backpack over his shoulder. The little girl, who seemed ready for the holiday season, was spotted wearing Christmas pajamas and pink cowgirl boots.

In a surprise announcement earlier this year, Diaz and Madden revealed that they had welcomed their second child, Cardinal, in March. In a joint Instagram post, the couple expressed their joy and gratitude for their new addition, stating, "We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!"

To maintain their children's safety and privacy, the couple has chosen not to share any photos of their newborns on social media. However, they assured their followers that Cardinal is "really cute." Diaz and Madden, who exchanged vows in 2015, also welcomed their daughter, Raddix, in January 2020.

The name choice of Cardinal sparked some intrigue, with Diaz's sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, playfully attributing the shared bird theme within the family to "a twin thing." Despite the unique name, the couple's loved ones expressed their overwhelming happiness for the growing family.
