### Milwaukee Bucks Dominate Utah Jazz 123-100
The Milwaukee Bucks decisively overcame the Utah Jazz on Thursday night with a commanding 123-100 victory at home. This win helps the Bucks recover from a six-game losing streak and pushes the Jazz further down to a concerning 1-7 record for the season.
Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo were the stars of the night, scoring 34 and 31 points respectively. Antetokounmpo also contributed significantly with 16 rebounds. Their performances were crucial, particularly in the third quarter where Milwaukee took a definitive lead.
The game began with some promise for the Jazz, who managed to briefly lead 71-70 during the third quarter. However, the Bucks quickly turned the tables with a powerful 17-1 run, driven by Jazz turnovers and missed shots. Lillard and Antetokounmpo were central to this surge, scoring 15 of the initial points in the run that ultimately decided the game's outcome.
Despite the score, there were positive signs for the Jazz. Jordan Clarkson led the team with 18 points from the bench, and rookie Isaiah Collier made his highly anticipated NBA debut following a month-long injury.
"Being on the court for sure, first NBA game - it was an exciting moment," Collier reflected.
Jazz head coach Will Hardy acknowledged the game’s difficulties but remained optimistic about the team's progress. "I do think that the team's getting better. But we had a third quarter that was pretty ugly. For the most part, Milwaukee's physicality impacted the game tonight on both ends of the floor," Hardy said.
Lauri Markkanen, who had a quieter performance, emphasized the importance of learning from the game. "They made us pay for our mistakes," he noted. "We’ve just gotta be able to keep the dark moments short. There’s some good in that game, but of course, some things we can learn."
As the Jazz look to improve, they will next face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. Meanwhile, the Bucks aim to build on their regained momentum as they prepare to take on the New York Knicks on Friday.
