Bruce Springsteen, 74, has been forced to cancel a run of tour dates on his European stadium tour after suffering from a major health issue. Doctors have strongly advised him not to perform, leading to the postponement of several shows.

On Saturday, the legendary musician was supposed to perform in Marseille, but had to postpone the show "due to vocal issues," according to an Instagram post on his account. Further examination and consultations with doctors have led to the conclusion that Bruce should not perform for the next 10 days.

As a result, additional postponements have been announced for the Airport Letnany concert in Prague, originally scheduled for May 28, and the shows at San Siro Stadium in Milan, originally scheduled for June 1 and 3. The statement mentions that new dates for these concerts will be announced shortly, and fans can obtain refunds at their original point of purchase.

Bruce Springsteen's European stadium tour is now set to resume on June 12 in Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitan. Despite the setback, the singer is said to be recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band are eagerly looking forward to continuing their successful tour.

Fans have taken to social media to express their support and wish Bruce a speedy recovery. Messages flooded in, expressing sentiments such as "Hope The Boss recovers soon" and "Thinking of you, Bruce." Many fans acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the cancellations and expressed their understanding.

This is not the first time Bruce Springsteen has had to cancel or reschedule shows due to health issues. In March 2023, he called off planned concerts, and last year in August, he rescheduled dates in the US after falling ill. Despite these setbacks, Bruce's first major tour in six years has been highly anticipated and well-received, with a headline gig in London's Hyde Park in July 2023.

As Bruce Springsteen continues his recovery, his loyal fans will eagerly await the announcement of the rescheduled dates for the postponed concerts. Until then, the music industry will stand in solidarity with 'The Boss' and send him their best wishes for a swift return to the stage.
