### Bronny James to Balance Time Between Lakers and G League for Development
Bronny James, son of NBA superstar LeBron James, is preparing to split his time between the Los Angeles Lakers and their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. This decision aims to provide Bronny with ample opportunity to enhance his skills.
ESPN's Shams Charania and Dave McMenamin reported that Bronny will be on the Lakers’ roster during their road trip from October 28 to November 6. Following this, he will divide his time between the main team in Los Angeles and the South Bay Lakers. LeBron James emphasized that this arrangement is crucial for Bronny's development as a player.
LeBron commented on the mixture of pride and anticipation he feels about his son's growth. "Just [looking forward to] seeing him continue to grow as a basketball player no matter if it's here with us or if it's down with the G League team and him continuing to get better and better and better," LeBron told McMenamin and Charania. He also mentioned the mutual accountability within the team: "His job is to put the work in and get better and better, just like the rest of us. And we want to hold him accountable, and he's going to hold us accountable. And if we all do that, we all get better, because we're all one team. We're a reflection of South Bay; South Bay is a reflection of us."
Bronny James made his debut in the NBA on October 22, where he played for three minutes, grabbed one rebound, but went 0-of-2 from the field. He shared the court with his father during the Lakers' 110-103 victory, marking a historic moment as the first father-son duo to play together in NBA history. The strategic decision to have Bronny split time between teams is seen as a beneficial step for his budding career in professional basketball.
