**Impressive Performance by Broncos' Rookie QB Bo Nix Earns Praise from Chiefs**

Denver Broncos' new quarterback Bo Nix made a significant impression during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite the Broncos' narrow 16-14 loss, Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton acknowledged Nix’s potential, stating that he will definitely be a challenge in future matchups.

Endorsements for Nix didn't stop there. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City's star quarterback, also had positive remarks for the rookie. In a Wednesday press conference, Broncos coach Sean Payton shared that Mahomes told him post-game, "You got one," in reference to Nix's performance.

When asked about Mahomes' comment, Nix expressed his appreciation. "That kind of stuff is awesome," he said. "It's a fortunate part of playing the game and competing against these guys that have been doing it on the stage for so long. It's an honor, but at the same time, those are the games that you have to continue to play and continue to compete in and ultimately win."

Nix emphasized that earning respect from esteemed players like Mahomes is monumental. "You get guys like that, their respect. Then when you get their respect, it's just kind of a special thing for you. It's not something to be complacent about, but it's definitely -- you feel like you're on the right track and you're doing the right things," he added.

The rookie quarterback's next opportunity to face Mahomes comes in Week 18, when the Broncos will host the Chiefs. Having gained Mahomes' respect, Nix's next goal will be to secure a victory against the formidable opponent.
