In a courageous act of bravery, Keith Fahrney, a good Samaritan, has come forward to recount his harrowing encounter with the Rockford stabbing attack suspect, Christian Soto. Fahrney revealed his selfless actions that unfolded in the wake of the tragic incident that claimed the lives of four individuals and left seven others injured.

Speaking exclusively with ABC News, Fahrney recounted the terrifying moment he stumbled upon the scene. As he was driving by, he noticed a woman being viciously stabbed and didn't hesitate to intervene. He swiftly sprang into action, opening his car door and seizing Soto, forcefully bringing him down to the ground. However, Soto retaliated and commenced an attack against Fahrney, who valiantly defended himself against the onslaught.

Winnebago County State's Attorney J. Hanley acknowledged Fahrney's incredible heroism, detailing the circumstances that unfolded during the altercation. According to Hanley, Soto attempted to steal Fahrney's Jeep after entering it. Undeterred, Fahrney managed to pull Soto out of the vehicle, but not without sustaining injuries from the knife-wielding assailant. Fortunately, police arrived on the scene, bringing the terrifying incident to an end.

Tragically, the Rockford stabbing attack claimed the lives of four victims. Identified as Jenna Newcomb (15), Jacob Schupbach (23), Jay Larson (49), and Ramona Schupbach (63), their names will forever be etched in the community's memory, as their lives were cut short by this senseless act of violence.

The Rockford community mourns the loss of these four individuals and stands in solidarity with the seven injured victims, wishing them a speedy recovery.
