### Boeing Strikes Tentative Deal to End Worker Strike with 35% Wage Increase

Boeing has potentially reached a significant agreement with its union of 33,000 members that promises a 35% wage increase over the next four years, aiming to put an end to a strike that has disrupted its production. This development comes as the company battles to rebuild its reputation after facing repeated safety issues.

The tentative deal outlines the wage increase to be distributed over four years: 12% in the first year, followed by 8% in the second and third years, and concluding with a 7% increase in the fourth year. This proposal aims to provide a structured and steady financial boost to the workers, most of whom are machinists in the Seattle area involved in constructing Boeing's 737, 777, and 767 jets.

Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union began striking on September 13, significantly impacting Boeing's operations. The union has now scheduled a vote to ratify the proposed contract, which will take place on Wednesday. If accepted, this agreement could mark a crucial step in stabilizing Boeing’s workforce and accelerating its production capabilities.
