In an impressive preseason performance, Bo Nix, the No. 12 overall pick of this year's draft, showcased his skills on Sunday as he led the Denver Broncos to three scoring drives against their opponents. Nix entered the game during the team's third possession and continued to play through the third quarter, displaying his potential as a starting quarterback.

Although Nix's first pass was almost intercepted, he quickly recovered and demonstrated his accuracy with a 22-yard completion to Courtland Sutton on third-and-10. Throughout the possession, Nix connected effectively with his receivers, including an 11-yard gain with Josh Reynolds. Impressing the fans, Nix concluded the drive by throwing a 1-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims, marking his first professional touchdown and showcasing his rhythm and timing.

Continuing to dominate, Nix led the Broncos on a two-minute drive just before the end of the first half, resulting in a successful field goal. Maintaining his strong presence on the field, Nix orchestrated another touchdown drive to start the third quarter, culminating in a 22-yard pass to running back Jaleel McLaughlin as the highlight of the possession. Nix's performance was highlighted by rookie running back Audric Estime's 2-yard touchdown, capping off a remarkable demonstration of Nix's abilities.

In total, Nix completed 15 of his 21 passing attempts for 125 yards with one touchdown, delivering an impressive 102.3 passer rating. Nix also displayed his agility, rushing three times for 17 yards. Notably, he excelled on third downs, connecting on 4 of his 5 attempts for 50 yards and a touchdown, highlighting his poise and decision-making ability.

Meanwhile, Jarrett Stidham, who started the game, faced some challenges, completing 4 of his 7 passes for 37 yards and an unfortunate interception. A miscommunication with Samaje Perine led to the interception, dampening Stidham's performance.

With the quarterback competition still ongoing, head coach Sean Payton will have to consider Nix's strong showing as he evaluates the situation. While preseason performances may not be the sole determinant, Nix's solid case for himself on Sunday afternoon cannot be overlooked. As the competition progresses, Broncos fans eagerly anticipate the final decision on who will lead their team during the upcoming season.
