Big Ten Unveils 2024-25 Men's Basketball Season Broadcast Lineup and Tournament Details

For the 18th consecutive season, all 180 conference games will be shown nationally. Additionally, the schedule includes select non-conference matchups, complete with tip times and network allocations.

The conference season kicks off on Tuesday, Dec. 3, featuring three games. Between Dec. 3-13, 18 conference games will take place before pausing for the holiday break. Action resumes on Jan. 2, 2025, with five conference games.

The season leads up to the 2025 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament, scheduled for March 12-16 at Gainbridge Field House in Indianapolis. This will be the 13th time Indianapolis hosts the event, more than any other city. Notably, 15 teams will qualify for the tournament for the first time, beginning with three first-round games on March 12, followed by four games each on March 13 and March 14.

Broadcast details include coverage on CBS and FOX, as well as cable networks Big Ten Network and FS1. NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock, will also host live games. On Dec. 3, Peacock will broadcast the season’s first two conference matchups: Iowa vs. Northwestern at 7 p.m., followed by Michigan vs. Wisconsin at 9 p.m.

FOX Sports will air its first Big Ten game on Dec. 3 at 10:30 p.m., featuring a match-up between Washington and UCLA. The Big Ten Network opens its slate on Dec. 4 with a tripleheader: Ohio State at Maryland at 6:30 p.m. ET, Michigan State at Minnesota at 8:30 p.m. ET, and Oregon at USC at 10:30 p.m. ET.

CBS Sports plans to present 13 Big Ten games on CBS and Paramount+, starting with Illinois at Michigan State on Jan. 19 at 12 p.m. ET. Peacock will broadcast the opening trio of games for the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament. For the 28th consecutive year, CBS Sports will air the tournament’s semifinals and championship game, with streaming available on Paramount+.

These games will be accessible nationally across various platforms, including CBS, FOX, FS1, Big Ten Network, and Peacock, ensuring fans can tune in through multiple devices and streaming services.
