**Bengals Trade for HB Khalil Herbert from Chicago Bears**

In a significant roster update, the Bengals announced today that they have acquired halfback Khalil Herbert from the Chicago Bears. The deal was made in exchange for Cincinnati's seventh-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Khalil Herbert, who stands at 5-foot-9 and weighs 212 pounds, is entering his fourth year in the NFL. Originally drafted by the Bears in the sixth round of the 2021 draft, Herbert hails from Virginia Tech. Over the course of his career, he has participated in 48 games, including 12 starts. During his tenure with the Bears, Herbert compiled 1,791 rushing yards on 372 attempts, boasting an impressive 4.8-yard average and scoring nine touchdowns. Additionally, he has contributed 45 receptions for 291 yards and two touchdowns, and has proven valuable on special teams, returning 33 kickoffs for 824 yards.

In tandem with the acquisition, the Bengals have placed tight end Erick All Jr. and halfback Zack Moss on the Reserve/Injured list. Erick All Jr. is dealing with a knee injury, while Zack Moss is sidelined with a neck injury. These moves point to some strategic adjustments as the Bengals continue to navigate the season.
