**Broncos Look to Extend Winning Streak Against Chargers Amid New Coaching Era**

Coming off a series of strong performances, the Denver Broncos (3-2) hope to extend their three-game winning streak and secure a 2-0 record in the AFC West. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers (2-2), fresh off their bye week, are heading to Denver with newly appointed head coach Jim Harbaugh aiming to revolutionize the team's culture and performance. To gain insights into the Chargers' camp, we spoke with Michael Peterson from Bolts from the Blue for a preview of Sunday's game.

When asked about Jim Harbaugh's impact on the Chargers so far, Michael highlighted a noticeable cultural shift within the team. "Harbaugh has managed to get everyone on the same page, from top to bottom, creating a sense of unity that was previously missing," he stated. Although the Chargers started the season with two promising victories, injuries have since hampered their progress, leading to two close losses. Harbaugh’s efforts to mitigate these injuries, with the help of strength coach Ben Herbert from Michigan, haven’t yet yielded the expected results.

Despite their challenges, the Chargers' defense has been a standout, demonstrating a cohesive and team-oriented approach. "They are all playing together and it shows," Michael observed. Second-year linebacker Daiyan Henley has emerged as a significant player, while free-agent signing Kristian Fulton has impressed as one of the top cornerbacks in the league. Even with key players like Joey Bosa and Derwin James missing games, the defense has managed to perform admirably, indicating a potentially sustainable success.

On the offensive side, quarterback Justin Herbert has been consistent, aside from one notable interception. Michael noted that Herbert excels when allowed to leverage his throwing capabilities, but the current run-heavy offensive strategy limits this potential. Despite this, Herbert has minimized turnovers and avoided sacks effectively. However, Michael pointed out that Herbert needs to focus on his durability, as ongoing injuries could jeopardize the team's aspirations.

Considering the upcoming game, Michael was surprised to see the Chargers as three-point favorites, given their struggles against strong defenses. He predicted a challenging game for Herbert, expecting him to be held under 181 passing yards, a mark he hasn’t surpassed this season. Michael envisions a close contest similar to the Chargers' recent games against the Steelers and Chiefs, but he expressed doubts about the Chargers' offense sustaining drives and easing the defensive burden.

Ultimately, Michael forecasted a narrow 16-13 victory for the Broncos, attributing his prediction to Denver's defensive prowess and the Chargers' offensive struggles in the fourth quarter. As the Broncos aim to maintain their winning streak, Sunday's game promises to be a compelling matchup between two teams at pivotal points in their seasons.
