In a disturbing viral video that has caught the attention of people worldwide, several boaters were seen dumping trash into the ocean off the Florida coast. Authorities have now identified some of the individuals involved in the incident, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

FWC Chair Rodney Barreto expressed the global significance of the video in an interview with NBC's "TODAY" show, stating, "The video has become a worldwide story. I mean, the world is watching this." The wildlife agency, in collaboration with the state attorney's office, is currently determining the appropriate charges that will be filed for the incident that occurred on Sunday at the Boca Inlet.

Tyson Matthews, a spokesperson for FWC, urged any individuals who participated in the dumping to come forward and contact the agency. "We take these matters extremely seriously," Matthews emphasized, emphasizing the importance of accountability for such actions.

The video, originally uploaded by content creator Wavy Boats on YouTube, showcases two individuals emptying trash bins into the sea. The boaters featured in the footage reportedly attended the annual Boca Bash event, as confirmed by the event's organizers. They are currently working to identify those seen in the video, expressing their desire to see appropriate repercussions for their actions.

Organizers of Boca Bash expressed their disapproval of the behavior displayed in the video, stating, "We do not condone this behavior by any means and are appalled that the passengers even had the audacity to clap at the drone that was filming them dumping their garbage. We hope the repercussions handed down can be viewed publicly as a warning of how important our waters are to us native Floridians."

The identification of the boaters involved marks a significant step in the investigation, as authorities work towards holding all responsible parties accountable for their actions. The incident highlights the crucial need for respecting and protecting the marine environment, urging individuals to preserve the natural beauty of Florida's coastlines.
