A recently released dispatch call sheds light on the alleged domestic violence incident involving professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev and his wife, Nikki Garcia. The call, obtained by TMZ, reveals that Chigvintsev initially called 911 requesting medical assistance but later stated that he had gotten into an argument with his wife, who had allegedly thrown shoes at him. Authorities were informed that there was a child present at the scene, prompting them to respond promptly.

The dispatch operator relayed the message to the responding officers while keeping them informed of the evolving situation. Despite Chigvintsev's initial request for medical assistance, there was no description of any injuries at the time. The operator also mentioned that there was an ongoing disturbance in the background, indicating a possible disturbance of the peace situation.

Efforts were made to separate the two parties involved in the argument, with the 911 operator notifying the officers about the child being with Garcia, Chigvintsev's wife. The call concluded with a confirmation that the parties had been separated and the child was in the care of Garcia.

Insiders familiar with the ongoing investigation revealed that the call was made around 8:30 a.m. PT on Thursday. Approximately an hour later, Chigvintsev was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff's Department on a felony domestic violence charge. He was later released on bail set at $25,000.

In the wake of the incident, Garcia's representative has requested privacy for her and her family during this difficult time. Meanwhile, Chigvintsev's former dance partner from "Strictly Come Dancing," Fern Britton, shared her past experience with him, alleging incidents of being kicked and shoved during their time together on the show.
