Despite rumored upgrades, the tech giant aims to maintain the affordability of the device. Leaker Revegnus on X suggests that the U.S. launch price will either remain at $429, the same as the current model, or see a slight increase of around 10%.

The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to come with Face ID, a feature previously exclusive to higher-end iPhone models. This addition is part of Apple's strategy to bring advanced security features to its more affordable lineup. The Face ID technology will enhance device security and provide users with a convenient unlocking method.

In other news, Apple has released iOS 17.5.1 and iPadOS 17.5.1, offering minor updates to the existing iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems. These updates, released a week after iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, can be downloaded over-the-air on eligible iPhones and iPads. The new update includes a fix for a bug that caused deleted photos to reappear, even in devices that had been wiped and sold to others.

Rumors regarding the iPhone 16 lineup are also gaining traction, with prominent Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo sharing his expectations for the upcoming flagship devices. Kuo suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will introduce two new colors, replacing two existing shades. The color options for the new models include black, white or silver, gray or "Natural Titanium," and rose.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is intensifying its focus on artificial intelligence (AI) by introducing a range of Copilot+ PCs with AI-focused hardware. Among these new devices is the updated Surface Pro, featuring Qualcomm's Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite processor. Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro outperforms Apple's M3 MacBook Air in terms of processing power, positioning it as a superior choice for those seeking powerful AI capabilities.

As enthusiasts eagerly await the next iPhone SE model, reports indicate that Apple plans to release it in the spring of 2025. The new iPhone SE is expected to adopt a design similar to the standard iPhone 14, finally bringing Face ID and a notch to the affordable smartphone lineup. This release highlights Apple's commitment to delivering advanced features across its entire range of devices.

With the upcoming iPhone SE 4 set to offer Face ID and a price point below $500, Apple continues to cater to a wide range of consumers by combining affordability with innovative technology.
