### Angelina Jolie and Her Children's Notable Ties to Philanthropy and Cinema

Angelina Jolie and her daughter Zahara recently made a stunning appearance at an event, both adorned in white gowns. Angelina exuded elegance in a Grecian-style structured dress, while 19-year-old Zahara channeled vintage Hollywood glamour with a satin halter dress. Reflecting on her latest role, which required months of vocal training, Angelina admitted to the Associated Press, "This is the hardest thing I've ever done. I was terrified."

Angelina saw many parallels between herself and the famed singer she portrayed. "When we need to fight, we fight, for ourselves or for those we love or for our art," she said, noting a shared fragility and loneliness. This connection is mirrored in her deep bond with her children and her dedication to humanitarian efforts.

Angelina's relationship with Cambodia began with the filming of "Tomb Raider" in 2001. Captivated by the country, she adopted her first child, Maddox, from an orphanage in Battambang after feeling an immediate connection with the baby. Later, her then-partner Brad Pitt adopted Maddox as well. Maddox, growing up influenced by Angelina's passion for humanitarian work, took on the role of executive producer for the 2017 film "First They Killed My Father."

Pax, born on November 29, 2003, faced early life challenges in an orphanage in Vietnam before being adopted by Angelina. Embracing his new-found freedom, Pax participated in his mother's work, from voicing a character in "Kung Fu Panda 3" to serving as a set photographer for "First They Killed My Father."

Zahara, adopted from Ethiopia at seven months old, has also been deeply involved in her mother's causes. Besides attending red carpets and launching the Zahara Collection jewelry line, she has joined Angelina on trips to refugee camps and participated in advocacy work in Washington, D.C.

Shiloh, born on May 27, 2006, in Namibia, has shown interest in the entertainment industry, taking dance classes and participating in her mother's humanitarian missions. Twins Knox and Vivienne, born on July 12, 2008, in France, have also been active. Knox voiced a character in "Kung Fu Panda 3," while Vivienne, who had an early acting role in "Maleficent," now supports her mother’s projects from behind the scenes.

Angelina's children have embraced their roles both in front of the camera and in philanthropic efforts, reflecting the values and passions she instilled in them. Their involvement in various aspects of her work highlights a family dedicated to making meaningful contributions in film and humanitarian missions.
