Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has made shocking allegations that her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, subjected her to physical abuse on multiple occasions, including an incident during a plane trip in 2016. Jolie's claims were revealed in court documents obtained by Page Six, as part of an ongoing legal battle with Pitt over the sale of their shared Chateau Miraval French winery.

According to the documents presented by Jolie's legal team on Thursday, Pitt allegedly refused to allow her to sell her portion of the winery unless she signed a comprehensive non-disclosure agreement (NDA). In their attempt to challenge Pitt's demands, Jolie's team stated, "While Pitt's history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family's September 2016 plane trip...this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him."

The former power couple first met in 2004 while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" when Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. They officially began dating in 2005, got married in 2014, and separated in 2016, with their divorce being finalized in 2019. Jolie and Pitt share six children together, including three biological children and three adopted children.

The infamous plane incident in 2016, which contributed to the breakdown of their marriage, involved Pitt allegedly assaulting Jolie during a heated argument about their children. Jolie claimed that Pitt grabbed her by the head and shook her, while also punching the plane's ceiling. The couple's children reportedly witnessed the altercation, with one child even confronting Pitt.

Jolie's allegations extend beyond the plane incident, asserting that Pitt subjected her to physical abuse on multiple occasions prior to their separation. The court documents also revealed that Jolie never pressed charges against Pitt earlier because she believed it was best for him to take responsibility and assist the family in recovering from the trauma caused.

Their divorce proceedings have also been marred by a bitter dispute over their shared ownership of the Chateau Miraval winery. Jolie's legal team accused Pitt of proposing an NDA to prevent her from speaking out about his alleged abuse, particularly after she submitted sealed documents containing evidence and testimony regarding their child custody dispute. Pitt had initially agreed to purchase Jolie's shares but subsequently backed out due to concerns that the sealed documents could become public.

Responding to these claims, Paul Murphy, Jolie's attorney, stated, "By refusing to buy her interest but then suing her, Mr. Pitt put directly at issue why that NDA was so important to him...his abuse of Ms. Jolie and their family." The legal battle between the two high-profile celebrities continues, with Pitt being granted 50/50 custody of their children after a lengthy custody trial.

Both Jolie and Pitt were approached for comment, but no responses have been received so far. A representative for Pitt dismissed Jolie's claims, calling them a pattern of behavior to distract from unfavorable outcomes in the legal proceedings.

This latest development adds a darker dimension to the already tumultuous relationship between these Hollywood stars. As the legal battle over their French winery persists, the public watches with anticipation as the truth behind these allegations unfolds.
