Legendary rock band Aerosmith has unveiled the dates for their highly-anticipated rescheduled North American farewell tour, aptly named the "Peace Out" tour. The tour, which was originally set to kick off in September 2023 but was cut short due to lead singer Steven Tyler's vocal injury, will now take place from September 2024 through February 2025.
Aerosmith's "Peace Out" tour will feature support from the iconic rock act, The Black Crowes, for all dates except the kickoff show in Pittsburgh. Rising star Teddy Swims will have the honor of opening for Aerosmith in Pittsburgh.
The rescheduled tour is set to launch on September 20th in Pittsburgh, PA, and will conclude with a show in Buffalo, New York, on February 26th. Throughout their extensive tour, Aerosmith will make stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, Boston for a special New Year's Eve show, and New York City's Madison Square Garden.
Fans who had previously purchased tickets for the original tour dates need not worry, as all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. For those who missed out or want to secure their spot, tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday, April 12th at 10 a.m. local time.
The decision to reschedule the tour was made after Steven Tyler's vocal injury forced the band to postpone the remaining dates indefinitely. Now, with Tyler's voice restored, it is assumed that the same lineup, featuring original members Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, and Tom Hamilton, along with drummer John Douglas and keyboardist Buck Johnson, will take the stage for the rescheduled dates.
Meanwhile, The Black Crowes, who recently released their first new album in 15 years titled "Happiness Bastards," will join Aerosmith for the majority of the tour, showcasing their timeless rock sound.
Aerosmith fans can mark their calendars for a night of unforgettable rock and roll as the "Peace Out" tour promises to be a journey through decades of chart-topping hits and unparalleled energy.
