In the highly anticipated NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers made some noteworthy selections that displayed impressive RAS (Relative Athletic Score) scores, indicating the agility, speed, and strength of the chosen players. As fans eagerly researched these prospects, it became evident that their RAS scores showcased their potential and athleticism.

One of the standout picks for the 49ers was wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who boasted a phenomenal RAS score of 9.91. This outstanding performance placed him 31st out of 3,402 tested receivers from 1987 to 2024. Pearsall demonstrated elite explosiveness, speed, and agility, highlighted by his remarkable vertical jump of 42 inches and a ten-yard split of 1.81 seconds.

Renardo Green, a cornerback prospect, had a slightly lower RAS score of 8.21 compared to Pearsall, but still ranked 443rd out of 2,473 cornerbacks from 1987 to 2024. Although Green's agility grade wasn't available, his overall score indicated notable potential in terms of his athleticism.

Dominick Puni, an offensive lineman, showcased a remarkable level of agility with excellent scores in shuttle (9.88) and 3-cone (9.42) drills. Despite a comparatively lower speed grade, Puni's RAS score of 8.16 ranked him 292nd out of 1,583 offensive guards from 1987 to 2024.

Interestingly, running back Isaac Guerendo scored an exceptional 9.90 RAS, ranking him 20th out of 1,903 running backs from 1987 to 2024. Guerendo's impressive RAS score was consistent with his remarkable performance on the field.

Jacob Cowing, a wide receiver from Arizona, demonstrated elite speed with a 40-yard dash time of 4.38 seconds. Although his overall RAS score of 6.28 was relatively lower compared to other draft picks, his speed grade was exceptional.

Malik Mustapha, a free safety, received a solid RAS score of 9.39, ranking him 68th out of 1,093 players in his position from 1987 to 2024. Mustapha's strength was evident with 22 bench reps, compensating for his lack of agility testing.

Another impressive offensive guard, Jarrett Kingston from USC, had an eye-opening RAS score of 9.92, placing him 13th out of 1,583 offensive guards from 1987 to 2024. Despite a DNQ for agility testing, Kingston's shuttle time further highlighted his athletic abilities.

Lastly, linebacker Tatum Bethune was the sole draft pick for the 49ers whose RAS score was considered poor, with a composite grade of 4.10. However, Bethune did display promising speed and agility, providing some optimism for his potential impact on the field.

The San Francisco 49ers' 2024 draft class is filled with individuals who possess impressive RAS scores, showcasing their athletic abilities and potential for success. These young prospects bring diversity and unique skillsets to the team, fueling excitement and anticipation among 49ers fans. As they make their way into the NFL, all eyes will be on these rookies who have shown great promise through their RAS performances.
