Mountain West Announces 2024 Football National TV Schedule

The Mountain West conference has revealed its 49-game national television package for the upcoming 2024 football season. A mix of major networks including CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network, FOX, and FOX Networks will broadcast the exciting matchups across the season.

The national television schedule begins on Saturday, August 24, with New Mexico hosting Montana State on FS1 at 2 p.m. MT. Later that day, Nevada will take on SMU at 5 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network.

Air Force will kick off its home games on Saturday, August 31, when they face Merrimack, which will be televised on CBSSN at 1:30 p.m. MT. On the same day, Hawai'i will play host to UCLA in the first appearance of the season on CBS Television Network at 1:30 p.m. HT.

On Saturday, September 7, San José State will visit Air Force for the league's opening Conference game, which will kick off at 5 p.m. MT on CBSSN.

Saturday, September 14, is a big day for national broadcasts, with CBSSN televising a doubleheader; first with Utah taking on Utah State at 2:30 p.m. MT, followed by BYU facing off against Wyoming at 7 p.m. MT. Additionally, Colorado State will host Colorado on CBS at 5:30 p.m. MT.

Throughout the season, there will be eight game days featuring at least three nationally televised games, with four each on Saturday, October 12; Saturday, November 16; and Saturday, November 23.

Two notable matchups include Air Force hosting rival Navy on CBS on Saturday, October 5, at 10 a.m. MT, and San José State entertaining Stanford on Friday, November 29, at 1 p.m. PT, which concludes the CBS slate. All four CBS matchups will be available for live streaming on Paramount+.

On Black Friday, November 29, Boise State will go head-to-head against Oregon State on FOX at 10 a.m. MT, marking the Mountain West's second national broadcast of the season.

As part of the national television package, 10 regular-season games have been moved from Saturday to Friday. The highly anticipated Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship game will take place on Friday, December 6, at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT/3 p.m. HT, and will be televised on FOX.

Exact kick-off times and outlets for the FOX Sports broadcasts will be determined during the regular season, typically within a 12-day window.

Further announcements regarding additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports (Hawai'i), the Mountain West's third-tier partner, and regional/local/school broadcasts will be made in the coming weeks.

Football fans can now mark their calendars and look forward to an action-packed 2024 Mountain West football season, with a host of thrilling games set to be aired on national television.
