In a heart-wrenching Instagram post, former "16 and Pregnant" star Whitney Purvis paid tribute to her 16-year-old son, Weston, who tragically passed away earlier this week. On Tuesday, Purvis shared an emotional message reflecting on their cherished memories, emphasizing her deep love for her late son.

"I will always cherish our memories together," the 33-year-old began in her post, reminiscing about Weston's laughter, his favorite songs, and the special moments they shared. Purvis recounted fond memories including Weston's unique dolphin noise, his smile, jokes, and his first day of school. She concluded with a heartfelt message, "Rest in peace, my beautiful boy," and included two loving photos of herself with Weston.

The tragic news of Weston's death was initially shared by Purvis on Facebook on June 2. In her post, she expressed her devastation, describing it as her "worst nightmare come true" and lamented the cruelty and unfairness of life. She wrote of her disbelief and overwhelming pain, revealing her struggle to accept the reality of his passing.

Although the exact cause of Weston's death remains unknown, his stepmother, Amy Gosa, disclosed that the teenager had been battling diabetes and several other health issues. According to Gosa, Weston was found unresponsive early in the morning, and despite CPR attempts and emergency medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at a hospital in Gordon County. An autopsy is expected to provide more information.

Purvis first appeared on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" in 2009, when she welcomed Weston with her then-boyfriend, Weston Gosa Sr. The couple had another son, River, in 2014, before eventually splitting up. Sadly, just a year before Weston's death, Purvis had lost custody of both Weston and River due to child support issues.
