Country singer-songwriter Chris Young found himself in trouble on Monday night after he was arrested at a Nashville bar and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest. The incident unfolded at the Tin Roof bar in midtown Nashville, while agents from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission were conducting ID and license checks.

According to officials, Young began questioning the agents after they checked his ID, leading to a chaotic situation. Allegedly, Young recorded the agents and followed them to a nearby bar called the Dawg House, where TABC officials were conducting a routine compliance check.

Once inside the Dawg House, Young reportedly engaged in conversation with people at the bar and the bartender as the agents went to the back of the establishment to check ABC cards. It was at this point that the situation escalated.

Officials claim that as they were leaving, Young blocked their exit and placed his hands on one of the agents, preventing them from leaving. He allegedly struck the agent on the shoulder, leading to additional commotion and disruption involving bar patrons. TMZ reports that Young continued to follow the agents outside, further escalating the situation.

Reports indicate that during the altercation, Young exhibited signs of intoxication, with bloodshot and watery eyes, as well as slurred speech. Subsequently, he was arrested and booked on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.

Young, who rose to fame after winning Season 4 of USA's "Nashville Star" in 2006, posted a $2,500 bond and was released from custody on Tuesday morning. With eight studio albums and a membership in the prestigious Grand Ole Opry since 2017, Young has achieved considerable success in his music career.

His second album, "The Man I Want To Be," released in 2009, produced two No. 1 singles - "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)" and the title track. Additionally, his third album, "Neon," released in 2011, included two more No. 1 hits, "Tomorrow" and "You," as well as the top five hit "I Can Take It From There" in 2012. In 2016, his song "I'm Comin' Over" reached the top spot on the charts, and his collaboration with Vince Gill on "Sober Saturday Night" also hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay charts.

As Chris Young deals with this legal issue, the incident could potentially have an impact on his professional career. Fans and industry experts will be watching closely to see how he navigates through this troubling situation.
