UNDATED (WKRC) - Renowned Italian singer, Andrea Bocelli, has been forced to cancel two consecutive shows in Boston and Philadelphia due to ongoing health challenges affecting his voice. The 65-year-old performer took to the stage in both cities to inform disappointed fans that he was unable to sing, opting instead to play the keyboard while his 11-year-old daughter took the spotlight by singing.

Reports from concert attendees indicate that while many fans have expressed their well wishes for Bocelli's recovery, some have expressed frustration at the last-minute cancellations. However, organizers have already assured fans that a make-up show will be scheduled at a later date.

One fan commented on Bocelli's Facebook page, stating, "Wish he had canceled earlier in the day instead of an hour after the concert was to start. He will reschedule at a later time, but the hotel and travel expenses are a big loss."

During his appearance in Boston, Bocelli apologized to the audience, stating, "I did all my best to sing tonight, but I can't." The singer, famous for selling over 80 million albums worldwide, acknowledged that such instances rarely occur.

Despite the recent setbacks, Bocelli's upcoming show at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday is still scheduled to take place, according to the venue's website. Fans eagerly anticipate his performance there.

The remainder of Bocelli's 2023 tour includes upcoming dates in Baltimore, two shows in New York, and two performances in Hollywood, Florida. Concertgoers and music enthusiasts alike will be closely monitoring the situation, hoping for Bocelli's speedy recovery and the successful completion of his tour.

As Bocelli continues to manage his health challenges, fans remain hopeful for his return to the stage, where his incomparable voice has captivated audiences worldwide for decades.
