Weston McKennie, the esteemed midfielder of the U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT), has made the difficult decision to depart from the team's camp in order to rehabilitate an aggravated left knee tendinopathy. The USMNT will not be adding a replacement to the roster as they set off to face Trinidad & Tobago in the second leg of the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal on Saturday.

Following their remarkable 3-0 victory in the first leg held in Austin, Texas on November 16, the United States holds a comfortable aggregate lead in the series. The formidable goalscoring trio of Ricardo Pepi, Antonee Robinson, and Gio Reyna propelled the U.S. to victory, leaving them in a favorable position heading into the away leg.

The USMNT will travel to Port of Spain, Trinidad, where the second leg at Hasely Crawford Stadium is scheduled to take place on November 20 at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the action live on TNT, Universo, MAX, and Peacock. For Spanish-speaking viewers, Fútbol de Primera radio will provide live audio coverage of the match. Additionally, supporters can stay updated on the matches through the official U.S. Soccer App, as well as on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter (@USMNT), and Instagram (@USMNT).

McKennie's absence from the lineup will undoubtedly be felt, as his contributions on the field have been invaluable. Having played the full 90 minutes in the previous game, his withdrawal comes as a disappointment. However, the team's strong performance in his absence in the first leg instills confidence in their ability to secure a positive result in Trinidad & Tobago.

As the USMNT continues their journey in the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals, they remain determined to maintain their commanding lead without the presence of Weston McKennie. The team's resilience and depth will be put to the test as they seek to seal their spot in the tournament's next stage.
