Article:
UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland found himself in the midst of a confrontation outside his Las Vegas residence on Monday. Strickland took to social media to share footage of the incident, which involved an individual he claims committed domestic abuse.

In the videos posted by Strickland, he can be seen pointing what appears to be a gun at the man, whose face is purposefully blurred out. Another video captures Strickland and an unidentified companion pursuing the same individual, eventually shoving him to the ground and seemingly holding him at gunpoint as they stand near flashing lights.

According to Strickland's post caption, the altercation unfolded when the man was allegedly "drunk stomping out a girl." A security guard reportedly witnessed the incident, prompting the man to flee in his car. However, he ended up encountering further trouble as he hit a curb, causing significant damage to his tire. He then sought refuge at Strickland's residence, leading to the UFC champ's initial suspicion of a car theft. Law enforcement subsequently arrived at the scene and made an arrest.

The Las Vegas Police Department has not commented on the incident, but they confirmed that a name search for Strickland did not yield any results. A pending request for a police report on the matter has been made. MMA Fighting reached out to the UFC for a statement but received no immediate response.

Strickland had previously encountered online conflict with UFC welterweight star Ian Machado Garry over social media posts about Garry's wife. Given his history of both public and private confrontations, the recent incident adds to the list of incidents that Strickland often shares with his followers.

In a separate post, Strickland shared a photograph of what he claimed to be the alleged abuser's vehicle after the confrontation had unfolded. Further details regarding the man's identity and any legal repercussions remain undisclosed at this time.

Looking ahead, Strickland is scheduled to defend his middleweight title against Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297, set to take place on January 20 in Toronto. The upcoming bout is highly anticipated by fans, as Strickland looks to retain his championship title in the octagon.
