In a surprising turn of events, the Kansas City Chiefs' victory in securing a spot in the 2024 Super Bowl has sparked discussions of potential rigging and endorsements involving pop star Taylor Swift and President Biden. Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy weighed in on the theory, suggesting that the upcoming Super Bowl match between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers could be rigged to set the stage for Swift's endorsement of President Biden in November.

Ramaswamy's remarks were in response to alt-right media personality Jack Posobiec's speculation about Swift's political leanings, referencing her public call-out of the Soros family in 2019 and her subsequent aligning with liberal values in 2020. While the connection between a potential Super Bowl win and Taylor Swift's endorsement remains unclear, it seems that there is significant interest from the Biden camp in involving the global pop star in their campaign.

California Governor Gavin Newsom, a prominent Biden surrogate, has expressed a desire for Swift's support. He praised Swift's ability to encourage young people to engage in the political process during a Republican primary debate in September. With more than 279 million followers on Instagram, Swift's endorsement holds substantial influence.

The speculation around Swift endorsing Biden has become so intense that Biden's campaign team had to encourage applicants for a social media position not to reveal their strategies for recruiting Swift. Several suggestions were already made, including the possibility of Biden attending one of Swift's concerts during her "Eras Tour." Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, has yet to provide a comment on the matter.

The financial impact of Swift's association with the Chiefs and the NFL has been significant. According to Apex Marketing Group, Swift's presence at Chiefs games alone generated a calculated "brand value" of $331.5 million for the team and the league. This value was estimated based on various media platforms such as print, digital, radio, television, highlights, and social media monitoring.

Eric Smallwood, the president of Apex Marketing Group, highlighted that digital content and online news played a crucial role in creating the most financial value. When Swift and Travis Kelce's romance became a national sensation in October, the Grammy-winning artist generated a staggering $166 million. Additionally, Swift's attendance at Chiefs games contributed to a 400% increase in Kelce merchandise sales, making his jersey one of the top five best-selling in the NFL.

Swift's connection with the NFL has also had a positive impact on viewership. Her presence helped the league achieve its highest regular-season female viewership since 2000, with a significant rise of 9%. In the coveted 18-to-34 demographic, the NFL saw its highest regular-season viewership since 2019.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed his enthusiasm for the relationship between Swift and Kelce, stating that it has not only brought joy to the couple but also strengthened the connection between Swift's fans and the NFL. Goodell acknowledged the financial data that now supports the notion that the romance between Swift and Kelce has been beneficial for the league.

As the Super Bowl approaches, the speculation surrounding the potential involvement of Taylor Swift in the political world continues to grow. Whether the outcome of the game will have any influence on Swift's endorsement decisions remains uncertain. However, one thing is clear - the connection between Swift, Kelce, and the NFL has proven to be lucrative for all parties involved.
