Considering the club's momentous 15th season in 2024, it seemed fitting to reimagine the classic design with a modern twist. The center stripe, which was initially inspired by the trusses of the iconic Commodore Barry bridge that serves as a backdrop to Subaru Park, symbolizes a connection between the club's past and present, emphasizing the Union's commitment to bridging the gap between fans and their team.

The Union Creative Collective (UCC), a group consisting of season ticket holders, Sons of Ben members, Union super fans, members of the media, and Union employees, played an integral role in the creation of the 2024 "XV" kit. Collaborating with the Union and Adidas, this organization worked tirelessly to reinvent the center stripe, adding the Union's striking signal blue color to the stripe to reflect the team's evolution over the last 15 seasons. The shapes forming the central design mirror the Union's on-field formation, while the kinetic jagged band can be interpreted as a snake, river or lightning bolt - symbols that hold significance in the Union's branding and narrative.

Staying true to tradition, Bimbo makes a return as the front-of-kit sponsor, proudly displaying its logo on the primary club kits since 2011. Additionally, the jersey features a new right sleeve patch showcasing the logo of Independence Blue Cross (IBX). IBX's logo will appear on the right sleeve of both the primary and secondary jerseys, as well as any special jerseys worn by the players during league games.

To celebrate the launch of the 2024 "XV" kit, The Art of DOOP 2024 Kit Launch Event will take place on February 17 at Subaru Park. The event promises to be a unique blend of art, music, and soccer, encapsulating Philadelphia Union's iconic moments through art installations.
