The Buffalo Bills have added another weapon to their roster as they sign running back Leonard Fournette to their practice squad, multiple reports confirm. Fournette, who was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, spent the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was a part of their Super Bowl LV-winning team.

During his time with the Buccaneers, Fournette showcased his versatility and talent on the field. Last season, he recorded 668 rushing yards with three touchdowns, averaging 3.5 yards per carry. Additionally, Fournette made an impact in the passing game, with 73 receptions for 523 yards and three touchdowns.

The addition of Fournette comes at a crucial time for the Bills, as they aim to improve their rushing offense. Currently ranked 14th in the league, the team has relied heavily on James Cook, who leads with 486 rushing yards, and quarterback Josh Allen, who has added 189 yards on the ground and five rushing touchdowns. With Fournette's arrival, the Bills hope to add more depth to their backfield and enhance their offensive dynamics.

Looking ahead, the Bills will face the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles in their upcoming four games before heading into their Week 13 bye. The timing of Fournette's signing gives him an opportunity to get familiar with the team's system and potentially make an impact later in the season.

The Bills are optimistic that Fournette's experience and skill set will contribute positively to the team's offense, as they continue their pursuit of a successful playoff run. With a well-rounded roster and the addition of Leonard Fournette, the Bills are primed to make a strong statement in the coming weeks and establish themselves as serious contenders in the NFL.
