Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce faced a challenging Christmas Day match against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. Their frustrations were evident as they struggled against the tough Raiders defense, leading to a halftime score of 17-7 in favor of the Raiders.

Early in the game, Mahomes was seen on the sidelines expressing his frustration with the offensive line's performance. The Chiefs had a slow start, punting on their first three drives before finally getting on the scoreboard in the second quarter. Isiah Pacheco took a direct snap and scored from 12 yards out, putting the Chiefs in the lead at 7-3.

However, their momentum quickly faltered as the Chiefs turned the ball over on consecutive drives, resulting in Raiders touchdowns. Raiders defensive lineman Bilal Nichols recovered a fumble for a touchdown, while Jack Jones intercepted Mahomes and returned the ball 33 yards for another Raiders touchdown.

Kelce, too, felt the frustrations mounting during the game. As he came off the field, he displayed his disappointment by slamming his helmet into the watercooler stand.

The Chiefs were looking to build momentum ahead of the playoffs after defeating the Raiders a few weeks ago at Allegiant Stadium with a score of 31-17. However, as halftime arrived, it was the Raiders who had the upper hand this time, leading by ten points.

In the first half, Mahomes completed 13 of 21 passes for 97 yards and threw an interception. Kelce had four catches for 42 yards, but it was clear that both stars were struggling against the Raiders' resilient defense.

The Chiefs had a much-needed win last week, breaking their two-game losing streak with a victory over the New England Patriots. They will now have to regroup and make adjustments to overcome the Raiders' lead in the second half and regain control of the game.

As the game progresses, both Mahomes and Kelce will need to dig deep to find a way to unlock the Raiders' defense and lead the Chiefs to a comeback victory. The outcome of this matchup could play a significant role in shaping the Chiefs' playoff aspirations moving forward.
