However, if Murray is not activated and Jeff Driskel is instead elevated from the practice squad, Tune will be given the opportunity to start. Gannon stated that the final decision will be made on the team's flight to Cleveland either on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

The coaching staff, along with General Manager Monti Ossenfort and Offensive Coordinator Drew Petzing, will be involved in the decision-making process. Murray has expressed his readiness to play, but understands the importance of continuing to improve and get more reps.

Gannon also praised the coaching staff and players for adapting during practice to accommodate Murray's return after an extended absence. He noted that adjustments had to be made since the quarterback position is unique.

If Tune does end up starting, Gannon expressed confidence in the young quarterback's abilities. He commended Tune for his sharp performance in practice and even remarked on his mobility, which would greatly benefit the Cardinals' offense.

On the other side of the field, Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Deshaun Watson, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury, will start at quarterback for the Browns.
