The insider claimed that Kurt had been honest with Shannen about starting a new relationship with someone else while they were living in different states. It was alleged that Kurt informed Shannen about his new relationship a few days before she fell and underwent an MRI, during which doctors discovered her brain tumor.

However, Shannen took to Instagram recently to refute this version of events, calling it an "absolute lie" and emphasizing the importance of truth. She stated that she would address the marriage and affair further on her Let's Be Clear podcast in the future.

The insider further revealed that Kurt was living in Texas while Shannen was in California when doctors discovered her tumor. However, he flew back and accompanied her to doctor appointments. Interestingly, Shannen informed him on the morning of her surgery that she didn't want him to be there.

The woman linked to Kurt is his agent, Collier Grimm. According to the publication, the pair is still together.

Shannen filed for divorce from Kurt in April 2023 after almost 12 years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
