In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination, a thought-provoking documentary titled "JFK: What the Doctors Saw" is set to premiere on November 14th exclusively on Paramount+. The film delves into the tragic events of November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, shedding new light on the assassination and questioning the official narrative surrounding Lee Harvey Oswald's role as the sole gunman.

The documentary presents previously unreleased footage and features testimonies from seven doctors who were present in the emergency room of Parkland Hospital as they desperately attempted to save President Kennedy's life after he was shot during his motorcade's passage through Dealey Plaza.

According to the Warren Commission, which conducted an official investigation into the assassination, two bullets fired by Oswald entered Kennedy's body. The first bullet penetrated his upper back, exiting near his larynx, while the second entered the right side of his head and exited through his forehead. While it is believed that Kennedy may have survived the first shot, the second proved fatal. Despite resuscitation efforts, including a cardiac massage and tracheotomy, Kennedy was pronounced dead approximately thirty minutes after the shooting.

However, "JFK: What the Doctors Saw" casts doubt on this official version of events. Interviewing the seven doctors who were present in Trauma Room 1 at Parkland Hospital, executive producer Jacque Lueth discovered inconsistencies between their observations and the government's narrative. Lueth states, "Based upon my interviews with the doctors...and my own research, there's no question in my mind there was a government cover-up."

The doctors featured in the documentary assert that one of the bullets entered through Kennedy's throat, suggesting it was an entrance wound from the front. This revelation challenges the notion that Oswald acted alone, implying the presence of a second gunman firing from the rear.

An exclusive clip from the documentary features Dr. Robert McClelland and Dr. Ronald Jones recalling the initial testimony of Dr. Malcolm Perry, who attended to JFK and later treated Oswald. Dr. McClelland recalls Dr. Perry stating that the throat wound appeared to be an entrance wound, suggesting the presence of two wounds. Dr. Jones echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the need to reconcile an entrance and exit wound. Chillingly, Dr. McClelland also recounts an encounter between Dr. Perry and an individual, possibly a Secret Service agent, who warned him against publicly referring to the throat wound as an entrance wound.

Director and executive producer Barbara Shearer explains that an entry wound in the neck or front of Kennedy's body contradicts the widely accepted narrative of a lone gunman shooting from behind.

"JFK: What the Doctors Saw" presents a compelling challenge to the official account of John F. Kennedy's assassination, inspiring renewed scrutiny and raising questions about the possibility of a government cover-up. As the 60th anniversary of that fateful day approaches, this documentary invites viewers to reexamine one of the most momentous events in American history and invites further exploration into the truth behind JFK's tragic death.
