In a distressing turn of events, Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage and his ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton find themselves entangled in a legal dispute with Weston Coppola Cage's estranged wife, Hila Arounian. The lawsuit alleges defamation, embezzlement, and a smear campaign orchestrated by Arounian, resulting in Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton being denied access to their three-year-old granddaughters, Venice and Cyress.

Weston Coppola Cage, aged 33, and his mother, Christina Fulton, 56, have both filed separate defamation lawsuits against Arounian. The lawsuits assert that Arounian embezzled $100,000, engaged in a smear campaign against them, and even obtained a fraudulent restraining order to prevent Fulton and her family from seeing the twins.

The legal documents obtained by Page Six outline a troubling pattern of behavior whereby Arounian allegedly levies false and malicious accusations against individuals as a means of manipulation and coercion. Christina Fulton, in an interview with The US Sun, expressed her heartache at being unable to establish a relationship with her granddaughters, describing the situation as a "quiet, horrible nightmare."

Added to the anguish is the assertion that Arounian has been emotionally abusive towards Weston and has manipulated him into severing ties with his family. Weston, in support of the defamation claims, states that he has been a victim of character assassination his entire life and vows to take aggressive action against the relentless defamation he is currently facing.

The lawsuits also detail Arounian's alleged spread of falsehoods, including claims that Fulton encouraged Weston to sleep naked with her until he was 17 and that she encouraged her son to take Xanax. Furthermore, Arounian reportedly threatened to withhold access to the children if Weston did not file the restraining order against Fulton.

This nightmarish scenario has caused immense pain and shock for Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton, who have been unable to meet their granddaughters since their birth. Meanwhile, Weston is also contending with Arounian's alleged embezzlement and the subsequent revelation of her actions during a time when he was in recovery from mental health issues.

The legal battle has taken its toll on both parties involved. Arounian filed for multiple restraining orders against Fulton and Weston, with one case later being dismissed for lack of appearance by Weston in court. Christina Fulton's lawsuit further entails Arounian's request for another restraining order earlier this year, which was eventually rejected by a judge.

Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton are seeking unspecified damages in their lawsuits set against Arounian. As this contentious legal battle unfolds, representatives for Nicolas Cage and Weston Coppola Cage were approached for comment, while Arounian declined to provide a statement.

With a history of tumultuous relationships, Nicolas Cage recently married his fifth wife, Riko Shibata, in 2021. They welcomed their daughter, August, in September of the following year. This union follows Cage's short-lived fourth marriage to Erika Koike, which ended in annulment. Prior to that, Cage had been married to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, and Alice Kim, with whom he shares a son named Kal-El.

As this complicated legal battle continues, the question remains as to whether a resolution can be reached that will allow Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton to establish a relationship with their granddaughters, and for Weston Coppola Cage to address the allegations against his estranged wife, Hila Arounian.
